The people I meet at work read something regardless. I would rather what they read had a source, and a named person behind it.
The argument against writing is always time. It is a real argument. But the consequence of nobody with professional background writing is that the field gets explained by whoever has the most time, not by whoever knows the most.
These are my own views, not my employeru2019s. That is the whole point: a commentary piece should be attributable to a person who stands behind it.
